The Julian Alps is one word – mesmerizing! Stunning forest walks, breath-taking natural beauties, gorgeous waterfalls…

And we might come across some fairies and elves too. ;)

DAY 1 - FROM BELGRADE TO ZIROVNICA

Departure from Belgrade at 4PM. Car route: Belgrade – Zagreb – Ljubljana – Žirovnica. Casual breaks. Arrival in Žirovnica around midnight, overnight stay.

DAY 2 - SAVA BOHINJKA - SAVICA WATERFALL - MOSTNICA WATERFALL - LAKE BLED

Departure in front of the accommodation at 07:30AM. A one-hour drive to the parking lot near the source of Sava Bohinjka and the mountain lodge near Savica. Preparation for daily activities. Ascent along a well-maintained path (T= 20 min, 553 steps) to the viewpoint from which you can see the imposing 78m high Savica waterfall. Descent on the same path to the vehicle. After collecting the equipment (small backpacks), hiking along the northern shore of Lake Bohinj. Occasional short breaks for rest and photography. A longer break by the lake for breakfast in nature.

Ascent across the Voja area to the Mostnica waterfall, 21m high. Descent along the path next to the canyon of the Mostnica river, which is characterized by high and narrow beds with numerous waterfalls.
Stara Fužina - Bled back to accommodation. Evening socializing in the facility or one of the nearby restaurants.

DAY 3 - MARTULJEK CANYON - KRANJSKA GORA - JASENICE

Departure with small backpacks for a daily hike at 07:30AM. Half an hour's drive to Gozd Martuljek. Hiking through the Martuljek Canyon with a view of the Špik, Altar, Velika Ponca peaks.The path leads to the lower waterfall (850m) with a height of 30m, then a slightly more demanding path to the upper waterfall (1150m) which falls in a cascade with a total height of 100m. The highest cascade is 50m high.
Descent to the vehicle on the same path. A stopover in the town of Kranjska Gora for refreshment and a tour of the center of the mountain town

Expected total ascent: ~ 370 m/asl, total descent: 370 m/asl, Length of hike: ~ 8 km, Duration with breaks: 4:00h. Fitness requirements: easy. Technical difficulty: easy, demanding at the upper waterfall. Source of drinking water: mountain stream.

Continuation along the course of Triglavska Bistrica to the foot of the Peričnik waterfall. Circular hike with a tour of both waterfalls. The height of the lower waterfall is 52m, and the upper one is 16m.
Return to accommodation. Stopping in the town of Jesenice for supplies and sightseeing. Arrival at the accommodation. Overnight stay.

Expected total ascent: ~ 130 m/sl, total descent: 130 m/sl, Length of hike: ~ 2 km, Duration with breaks: 1:00h. Fitness requirements: easy. Technical difficulty: easy.

DAY 4 - SOCA RIVER - BOKA WATERFALL - KOZJAK WATERFALL - RETURN TO BELGRADE

Permanent departure from accommodation at 06:30AM. Separate hike equipment from the rest of your belongings. A half-hour drive over the Vršič pass (1610m), from where you can see the peaks of Prisojnik, Bavški Grintavec, Mojstrovka, etc., to the place of Trenta, where we leave the vehicle.

Hiking in segmental small routes visiting the most attractive destinations: Small and large riverbeds of Soča, riverbeds near Krševac, confluence of Soča and Koritnica, many waterfalls and cuts.

Boka waterfall, which with its 104m drop and 18m width is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe.
After visiting the waterfall, continue driving to the town of Kobarid, more precisely to the parking lot near the Kozjak River, where the waterfall of the same name is located. With a short hike, a tour of the Kozjak waterfall. Return to the parking lot.

Statistics of daily activities: Expected total ascent: ~ 430 m/asl, total descent: 590 m/asl, Length of hike: ~ 24 km, Duration with breaks: 8:30h. Fitness requirement: medium. Technical difficulty: easy. Source of drinking water: 4-5 (en route camps and households).

After repacking, departure for Belgrade. Casual breaks. Expected arrival in Belgrade around midnight.
